Worship/Music

God has truly blessed First Baptist with many talented musicians. Nowhere is that more evident than in our Worship Choir and Orchestra. Both the Choir and instrumentalists perform in many thrilling productions and uplifting services throughout the year: Christmas and Easter Celebrations, Mission Trips, community events, and Special Services. Rehearsals begin each Wednesday at 7:00 PM in the Music Suite.

Children, enjoy being a part of the childrens choir ministry and on Wednesday nights the sounds of Childrens praise can be heard throughout the halls of the Childrens Building.

Thursday mornings at 10:00 is an exciting time for those who like being around an energetic and encouraging group who enjoy music and have a heart to minister to the community. The ministry of our Ellis County Singers extends across the Ellis County area through music, encouragement, and missionary projects. This active group is always on the lookout for others who share their love for music and heart for ministry.

There is something for every age and talent level, whether its quartet, trio, ensembles, or instruments, from tenors to trumpets, our goal is always the same: make a joyful noise unto the Lord.
