At FBC Waxahachie we believe it is important for everyone to be involved in the ministry of the church. Below are opportunities for you to serve in the work of FBC Waxahachie.
Adventure Kids
Children’s Teachers & Assistant Teachers
- Invest in children (age 0-5th grade) and teach them about Jesus with our provided curriculum
- Frequency: Every week, every other week, every 4 weeks, or every 6 weeks
Check in for Children
- Greet families and check children in on our super simple check in system
- Frequency: Every other week or every 4 weeks

Students
Wednesday volunteers can help in many ways. Firstly, we need volunteers to hangout, play basketball, and help students with homework during our open gym time. Secondly, we need volunteers to help prepare/coordinate our Wednesday night meals. Lastly, we need volunteers to help make our Mid|Week service a fun and safe time where students can meet Jesus.
Wednesday night availability- Open Gym volunteers 4:30-6:00
Meal Prep 5:30-6:30
Mid|Week 6:00-7:30

Adults
We are always looking for engaging people to help lead or teach an adult Bible study. There are also opportunities to help plan activities for adults of all ages. If you are interested in serving in our adult ministry click HERE
Connections
Our connections team is the first point of contact for everyone who comes onto our campus on Sunday. If you are an extroverted person willing to welcome members and guests into the church, then this could be the place for you to serve. If you are interested in joining the connections team click HERE
Media
-Sunday morning, Tuesday and Wednesday evening
Do you have experience and/or a desire to work on our media team? We are looking for individuals who are driven and want to help our church develop the best possible media outreach and media ministry.

Classic Worship
If you play an instrument, and feel called to help lead the congregation through playing then this the place for you. Bring your instrument with you and play with a strong group that would love to have you.
Choir is open to any and everyone who feels called to lead worship through singing. You do not have to be a trained singer, all you need is a willing heart for God.

Contemporary Worship
We are always looking for people who feel called to lead worship to help in our contemporary worship service. Singers, musicians and tech crew are all essential for making contemporary worship happen. If you are interested in serving on our contemporary worship team click HERE
Local Missions
FBC Waxahachie serves our local community in a variety of ways. On a monthly basis our SOS ministry helps local families in need with yardwork and other needs.
